Learn film scoring. To picture, for real.
One-on-one lessons with a composer who worked on Disney and Netflix scoring teams – live, online or in Weinfelden, Switzerland, in your own DAW. Not a video course, not a cohort: private lessons on your own cues, or the Film Scoring program – ten lessons per level, ending in a finished cue to picture.

Most courses teach about scoring. This is scoring.
Recorded courses show you someone else's cue. Here you write your own, and someone who has sat in the real rooms tells you what's working, what isn't, and what a music editor would say about your bar 17. In the program, each level is a block of ten one-on-one lessons of 50 minutes with a fixed goal: Level 1 ends with a scored 30-second clip; then orchestral colors, harmony and emotion; Level 4 ends with a finished, mixed cue to picture. Levels 1–4 are fully visible – every step, before you pay. Levels 5–12 follow as the first students reach them.
You work in your own DAW – Logic Pro or Ableton Live – with orchestral libraries, the way scores are actually written today. Reading notation helps; it isn't required.

Private lessons or the program.
Two ways in, one teacher. Private lessons are for your own cues and projects – booked singly or in packs of five or ten, no fixed syllabus. The Film Scoring program is the deep end: twelve levels from a first scored clip to a finished, mixed cue, each level ten lessons ending in a finished scene. Levels 1–4 are open; 5–12 follow as the first students reach them.
Before you ask.
What does it cost?
A level – ten one-on-one lessons of 50 minutes – costs CHF 949.–. A trial lesson is CHF 95.–. Single lessons and packs of five or ten are listed under Private lessons. You can pay in CHF, EUR or USD; music education is VAT-exempt in Switzerland, so nothing is added at checkout. No subscription.
How fixed are the lesson times?
Weekly mode is the default: ten lessons, same time every week. You can skip a week or keep a lesson for later. If you need more freedom, choose free mode when booking and set each lesson time yourself – the remaining ones later from your account. Reschedule or cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before. Unused lessons stay valid for 12 months; if you stop, the rest is refunded pro rata.
I've never scored anything – can I start?
Yes. Level 1 starts with your first scored clip and assumes nothing. If you already write music, the placement test shows where to start – or we listen to your work in the trial lesson.
Do I need expensive orchestral libraries?
Not to start. We begin with what you have and talk honestly about what's worth adding when your cues actually need it – craft first, shopping later.
How do the lessons work?
Live online, on dedicated music-teaching software with studio-grade audio – the teacher hears your actual session, not a screen recording. Or in person at the studio in Weinfelden, Switzerland, five minutes from the station (map). The booking calendar shows available times in your time zone. Kids and teens from about nine are welcome – see For parents.
One trial lesson says more than this page.
CHF 95.–, 50 minutes, online, one to one. If it's not a fit, you'll know – and so will we.
