The invoice stays with you: the lessons and progress run under their name. Everything can still be adjusted at checkout.
Choose your program
Three programs. Each is a curriculum of 12 levels. Pick the music you want to make.
Private lessons, 50 minutes, in Weinfelden or online. From about 9 years old.
The 12 levels
Think of the levels like school years, only shorter: each level is 10 lessons and ends with a finished piece.
Levels 5 to 12 are being built. They open as the first students get there.
-
Level5 Sound Design Opens later You stop relying on presets: you learn how synths make sound and design your own kicks, basses, leads and textures from scratch. You finish: a track built on sounds you designed yourself
-
Level6 Sampling & Chops Opens later You dig, chop and flip samples, resample your own material and build beats the way hip-hop and electronic producers have for decades. You finish: a sample-based beat with your own flip
-
Level7 Rhythm & Groove Opens later You go deep on rhythm: polyrhythms, swing across genres, live-played drums and percussion, and grooves that make people move. You finish: a percussion-driven track that moves
-
Level8 Your Sound Opens later You take apart the producers you love, find what is yours, and produce a short EP where every track sounds like the same person made it. You finish: a three-track EP with a sound of its own
-
Level9 Advanced Mixing Opens later You mix like a professional: gain staging, bus processing, parallel compression, stereo width and the details that separate loud from good. You finish: a mix that holds up on any speaker
-
Level10 Vocals & Collaboration Opens later You produce for other people: record and tune vocals, arrange around a singer, and run a session where someone else's idea is the point. You finish: a produced song with a featured artist
-
Level11 Mastering & Release Craft Opens later You master your own music, prepare it for streaming, and learn what happens between a finished file and a release date. You finish: a mastered single ready for the stores
-
Level12 The Album Opens later The final project: you plan, produce, mix and release a full body of work, from the first sketch to release day, with everything you have learned. You finish: a released project with your name on the cover

The 12 levels
Think of the levels like school years, only shorter: each level is 10 lessons and ends with a finished piece.
Levels 5 to 12 are being built. They open as the first students get there.
-
Level5 Harmony That Surprises Opens later You go beyond the four chords: borrowed chords, key changes, bass movement, and the moments that make a listener sit up. You finish: a song with a chord move nobody expects
-
Level6 Co-writing Opens later You write with other people: sessions, roles, giving and taking ideas, and finishing a song that is more than one person's. You finish: a song written together with someone else
-
Level7 Genre & Form Opens later You write in forms you have not tried: a ballad, a pop song with a pre-chorus, a folk story, a club track, and learn what each one demands. You finish: three songs in three different styles
-
Level8 Your Voice as a Writer Opens later You find what only you would write: recurring themes, your images, your way with a melody, and put it into a small collection of songs. You finish: a four-song collection that sounds like you
-
Level9 Vocal Production Opens later You produce vocals properly: doubles, harmonies, ad-libs, tuning and effects, so the voice carries the record. You finish: a song with a fully produced vocal
-
Level10 Writing for Others Opens later You write for another singer or to an artist's brief: their range, their story, their sound, and deliver a song that fits someone who is not you. You finish: a song pitched to another artist
-
Level11 Arrangement & Production Choices Opens later You learn to make the big decisions: what a song needs, what it does not, where it should be bare and where it should bloom. You finish: a fully arranged and produced single
-
Level12 The EP Opens later The final project: you write, produce and release a set of songs that belong together, from the first idea to the day it goes online. You finish: a released EP of your own songs

-
Level5 Scoring a Short Film Opens later You score a whole short film: spotting, themes for characters, transitions between scenes, and a score that holds together from the first frame to the credits. You finish: a complete short film score
-
Level6 Rhythm, Action & Pulse Opens later You write music that drives: ostinatos, percussion, tempo against the cut, and action scenes where the score stays clear instead of loud. You finish: an action sequence scored to the cut
-
Level7 Sound Worlds Opens later You design a sound world for a story: found sounds, processed instruments, synths and orchestra as one palette that belongs to this film alone. You finish: a scene scored in a sound world of your own
-
Level8 Working With a Director Opens later You work to a brief: temp music, notes, revisions, and the conversation that turns 'make it sadder' into a better cue. You finish: a cue revised to a director's notes
-
Level9 Advanced Orchestration Opens later You write for the full orchestra with real craft: voicing, doubling, ranges, and colour choices that sound like a score, not a keyboard. You finish: an orchestral cue with a full mockup and score
-
Level10 Recording Real Players Opens later You prepare music for real musicians: parts, click, session planning, and recording a soloist or small ensemble on top of your mockup. You finish: a cue with a recorded live performance
-
Level11 Mixing & Delivery for Film Opens later You mix and deliver for the screen: stems, formats, loudness for streaming and cinema, and a handoff a sound team can work with. You finish: a cue delivered to broadcast standards
-
Level12 The Film Opens later The final project: you score a full film from the spotting session to final delivery, with themes, a sound world and a director who is not you. You finish: a complete film score, delivered

The questions we hear most.
What age can you start?
From about nine. Below that we look at the individual case – when a younger kid is clearly ready, we'd rather say yes than point at a birthday.
Is this only for kids?
No. The tracks work the same at fifteen or fifty – private coaching meets you at your level, whatever your age.
Do you need any music background?
None. Every track starts at Level 1 – your first loop, your first song, your first cue. And if you already make music, a placement session finds your real level instead.
English or German?
Both – sessions, the website and the portal run in English or German. Just tell us which you prefer.
What does a session look like?
50 minutes, one to one, in your own DAW – we teach Logic Pro and Ableton Live. You share your session, we build the track together: online, or at the studio in Weinfelden. Most students come once or twice a week – but there's no subscription, you set the pace.
What equipment do you need?
A computer and headphones – that's the honest minimum; a phone or tablet won't cut it. In Beats & Production and Film Scoring, sessions happen in your DAW (Digital Audio Workstation – the program music gets made in). On the Songwriting track a DAW isn't necessary from the start – it's something you'll learn later. We teach Ableton Live on Windows or Mac, and Logic Pro on Mac. For Beats & Production and Film Scoring we recommend a MIDI keyboard; for Songwriting, an instrument to write with – guitar or piano work best.
Logic Pro
Ableton Live
How do online sessions work?
Over Sessionwire – studio-grade audio built for remote music teaching. You join in the browser or with the free app; no account, no subscription, one click from your lesson page.
How does the trial work?
One trial session at a fixed price, no commitment – you pick a time and book it in a couple of minutes. If we click, you pick a track and start at Level 1, or take a placement session if you already make music.
How do levels work?
Each track is twelve levels. You buy one at a time – a set number of sessions ending in a finished piece of music. No subscription, nothing renews by itself. And yes, you can switch tracks along the way – the levels you've earned stay yours.
What does it cost?
Every price is on the offerings page – per level, all-inclusive, no subscription. What you see is what you pay: music education is VAT-exempt in Switzerland, so nothing gets added at checkout.
What if you miss a session or need to move it?
Any session can be moved or cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before it starts, right in the portal. Later than that – or a no-show – and the session counts as taken. If you're ill, reschedule rather than push through.
What if you pause – or stop?
Pausing is fine: credits stay valid for twelve months. If you stop for good, unused credits are refunded pro rata – sessions already taken aren't. The details live in the terms.
Can parents follow along?
Yes – the parent portal shows the schedule, the journey through the levels and every track your kid hands in. Kids get their own login for sessions and uploads, and it never shows an invoice or a price. You pay; they make music.
Who owns the music?
The student – fully. Every beat, song and score made here belongs to the person who made it: release it, share it, sell it.
